It is barely a month since Mercedes unveiled the SLS Supercar at the IAA, but already we have seen like 5 different tuning proposals for it, and honestly most of them were rubbish! Now Kicherer reveals their program and fortunately they have much better taste than the others! They call it the SLS 63 CP, in which CP stands for Carrera Panamericana, paying tribute to the victorious 300 SL Gullwing of that race in 1952.
Kicherer’s SLS features a modified front apron which comes with bigger air intakes, spoiler lip and a new steel front grille, which is the party piece of this pack, boosting the car’s classic style even further! They also put a roof scoop on the car which look surprisingly cool and matches the overall design nicely. There is also new side vents, side mirrors a new rear diffuser accompanied by four oval tailpipes.
These mufflers belonging to the car’s new sport exhaust system, have electronically-controlled valves in them by which the driver can choose between either a discrete or a sporty roaring noise!
And final stage of SLS 63 CP magnificent style is indeed the new set of Kicherer RS-1 three-piece double-spoke 20-inch wheels painted in black.
This is by far and away the coolest SLS tuning package so far, and by the time it becomes ready to hit the market, there might be some performance upgrade for the car’s 6.3 liter V8 as well.
